Review:What's Going on....?

Category: Music
Genre: Pop
Artist: Eason Chan

Eason Chan. Been a brand name that will encraved our time as the artist u always remember like we do to Jacky Cheung back in 90's. No wonder he's been crown the new God of Canto-pop. So back to here whats going on to Eason? Taking a very long time to disgest this album and his dvd, Wau!!! A bit of new surprises. This is a new phase of his career(the universal phase) so it will sound similiar to the previous album eg U87, Life continues. This time, will goes more personal to himself.

Best part is to praise the ballads, "white rose白玫瑰 ", "sorrow is meaningless a.k.a underneath mt fuji富士山下 "(big radio hit now) this is a commercially friendly and yet blends a new taste of canto-pop ballads. These songs spells out the feeling of sorrow and develops a deeper thoughts to what it was saying. His upbeating-alternative hippies "the last hippies最後的嬉皮士 " is a easy digest art of work compare to his previous works like "rotten".

After bumping back to Alex San at m'sia awards ceremony last year, writes eason's quite a couples of hits, Eason had push him to writes a song soon. ..and comes this"don we all love dresses裙下之臣 " a song about adoring women. Wonderful, i say. This composer only able to deliver hits with big stars. Looking at the list of producers, isn't much of unfamiliar names. eg C.Y Kong,DAvy Chan, and Eason himself writes himself 2 track out of it. Watch the DVD bonus that comes with it, and you will find a little surprise.

Unmissable album of the year. this would drop into my top ten list.
