环球之四宝Universal Fab Four

At the year 2009, its getting obviously a whole new scene in pop world had turn around with new breath of artist. By looking into the BIG THREE record company in Asia, Universal, their biggest artists and major focus falls into the Hong Kong territory. Their fabulous four are Eason Chan, Hacken Lee, Hins Cheung and Kay Tse. With four of them represents the height of Unversal in this era.


With finally Hacken rising to fame as A-list artist after Alan holds him to be a partner in sold-out concert for three whole years, and rising to stardom since he step into the business back about 20 years ago. After his peak of career in 2006, he then had slow down to focus more in seeting up family and his music quality. He then been constantly place his name in the top 10 of best selling artist of the year, for the past 4 years at least. Again 2009, he is back with a new album, TODAY'S SPECIAL, a concept album with collabrations with the market's songwriter-artist like Khalid, Justin Lo....


About the same time, Eason Chan had make history with his first album with Universal, U87, as the record of the year being named by the TIMES magazine, to be the highest honour. The subsequence releases had further maintain Eason as the best sellling artist and his fame had reach the whole Asia, with his equivalent successful mandarin albums. After a long break, this 2009, he is back with H3M. A band by his fellow musicians where he had collborate with them since his last year concert tour. Obviously, more surprises comes up with a team who had good mutual understandings.


Hins Chueng was a China Mainland cantonese artist, but he had already been a promising new rising stars, since his debut with MY WAY. Adding to his advantage, with his bilingual ability and a songwriter himself, had make him easily break into HK market. In year 2007, he even had 3 places in the top 10 best selling albums of the year. As to subsequently to expand his thorne, his 09 releases, "Love & Living" will goes back to his music roots and collaborate with the famous 80s iconic musicians like George Lam, Anthony Lun.....


Kay Tse wasn't a bright new star, but her fantastic vocal which similar compare to Faye Wong's early works, keeps her in the business. In 2006, she move to Universal was tended to bloom her up to fame, but alas, at the very same moment she annouce her pregnancy hiatus. However, this does not stop she getting famous. Her keep rising despite her absences, and by her return, she sang famous "Chung Mo Yin" and her 1st full lenght album, BINARY which features the single "Blessing Street" make her an A-List. To celebrate her first huge live concert, and her enormous awards she received for the 2008 awards ceremony, she releases a new album "YELLING". By now its already hot seller.

These fabulous four had cover half of the placements of the top 10 best selling albums for the past 3 years.
