To my observation, I think Joey Yung, had reach a stable status in Canto-pop, and hoping she could reach an Asia diva status. However, she is still holding a moderate fame in the manda-pop. Her past mandarin albums, had not surpassed the achievement she made in Cantaonese albums. I guess she might need some time off to concentrate to find the right style for her in Mandarin albums.
Through the MOOV Live, Joey yung showcases 9 new songs from her upcoming mandarin album. Can be noticed that the musical style continues her previous ballad, light-mellow songs and infused more canto-pop up-tempo songs. As a fans of hers, I probably love it but frankly speaking, on first listening I had not found anything I like from these songs but I am sure these are the type of songs that will grew on me later.
